The company ma/ag started its activity in Casalbuttano on 1976, from the idea of the founder Cav. Angelo Ruggeri, who, from the beginning, is convinced that the winning solutions must be found in the alternative to the ploughing.
That’s the reason why, from the 80’s, he began the construction of the innovative equipment for the minimum tillage and the conservative agriculture, in order to guarantee an elevated productivity connected to the costs reduction and a lower impact to the environment.
The company has a familiar structure and the unitary spirit of the family is one of the most successful point and proud for the company.
Today in the company, Cav. Angelo Ruggeri is supported by his two daughters Serena and Olha and his son - in - law Roberto, all in strategy positions.

In the last years the commercial activity becomes more intense, developing collaboration and relationship in Italy and increasing concretely the presence in Europe and all over the world (Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Chile, South Korea, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Morocco, Mexico, Nigeria, New Zealand, Oland, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, South Africa, Sudan, Hungary) where it imposed itself with success for the seriousness and affability of the products.
From 2006, a new company has been added to ma/ag, MA/AG DIVISIONE SEMINATRICI S.R.L. which purpose is to produce pneumatic planters and seed drill machines for no till soil.

DISC HARROWS SECTIONS “V”
Brought and trailed disc harrows with “V” sections. Fixed frame or vertical hydraulic folding of the sections for the transport on road
Polyvalent equipment used for working and for mixing the hard ground or for crumbling and levelling the soil already worked.
EDV and EDV I disc harrows are characterized by a wide range of usage with working width from 2,10 m to 6,25 m and variable working depth from 10 to 25 cm (according to the model). The supports of the discs are oscillating with double contrasting conical roller bearings, oil seal, greaser and interchangeable crankcase (ma/ag system).
The hydraulic regulation of the discs sections, front and rear, allows a progressive and independent variation of the angle of incidence in order to obtain the optimal work on different kind of ground.
DISC HARROWS SECTIONS “X”
Brought and trailed disc harrows with “X” sections. Fixed frame or longitudinal hydraulic folding of the sections for the transport on road.
Polyvalent equipment used for working and for mixing the hard ground or for crumbling and levelling the soil already worked.
EDX disc harrows are characterized by a wide range of usage with working width from 1,50 m to 7,30 m and variable working depth from 10 to 25 cm (according to the model). The supports of the discs are oscillating with double contrasting conical roller bearings, oil seal, greaser and interchangeable crankcase (ma/ag system).
The hydraulic regulation of the four sections of the discs, front and rear, allows a progressive and independent variation of the angle of incidence in order to obtain the optimal work on different kind of ground. The strong structure guarantees an adequate flex-torsion rigidity and allows (where expected) to complete the equipment with a wide range of accessories.
PARALLEL DISC HARROWS WITH INDEPENDENT DISCS "VORTEX"
Trailed or brought on lift parallel disc harrows, fixed frame or hydraulic folding.
The disc harrows of Vortex series have been thought for the breaking down of the stubble and the preparation of the seed bed. The solid construction contributes to an efficient penetration and a good mixing up of the crop residues.
All the harrows can be combined with a front subsoiler with anchors, in order to bestow the equipment more aggressive, favoring a good mixing up between the ground and the crops.
CULTIVATORS AND GRUBBERS WITH SPRING
Cultivators with vibrant springs or rigid teeth and brought and trailed grubbers with anchors.
The cultivators with springs ma/ag series are the ideal equipment for the optimal preparation of the seed bed and for incorporating the crop residues into the superficial layer of the ground.
The ma/ag range offers numerous solutions according to the exigence of the customer, with light and heavy vibro cultivators to confer more aggressively on the ground.

COMPACTOR ROLLER AND BREAKING SOIL
Smooth compactor roller TI and cast iron roller Cambridge, KI, KP, KTS and KIOS models.
The compactor roller of the TI line used for compacting the ground after seeding, are equipped with tubes diam. 610 mm thickness 12 mm and available width from 4,5 m to 6,30 m.
The main purpose of the breaking rollers is to breaking the clods produced by the ploughing. They are particularly indicated on clay and dry soil favoring the preparation of an ideal seed bed, perfect for the seeding machines. They can be used also for a constant compaction of the ground near the growing crops, favoring an uniform development. KIOS series consents to the roller to follow perfectly the wavy of the ground, the sections are linked to the frame in a central and balanced way, completely independent.
COMBINED MACHINES FOR THE SEED BED PREPARATION
Combined machines for the seed bed preparation, working width from 2,5 m to 6 m.
The combined machines of ma/ag company present multiple solutions for the preparation of the seed bed on no till or partially worked soil.
The symbol machine of this category is “CULTIRAPID”, unique equipment in its genre with brevet ma/ag, is a polyvalent construction that allows a remarkable saving in terms of time, fuel and work, compared to the rotary harrow and to the traditional tillage.
From the experience of Cultirapid are born CULTIRAPID EVO and CULTIRAPID PRO models, ideal machines for the working on no till soil thanks to its high speed of advancement (7/15 Km/h) that guarantee an elevated productivity and hourly yield of 4/7 hectares. The combination of the working parts allows a perfect mixing of the residues.
SUBSOILER WITH RIGID ANCHORS SEA
Subsoilers with rigid anchors SEA series. Working width from 2 m to 7 m.
The company ma/ag proposes multiple solutions of depth subsoilers with possibility of working from 40 to 70 cm. SEA lines is divided into fixed machines with safety device or hydro pneumatic (non stop).
The range is composed by SEA L, SEA M, SEA EVO, SEA NG, brought on lift version with working dimensions from 2 to 4 m and by SEA NXT model, trailed machine with working width from 5 to 7 m and working depth until 65 cm.
COMBINED GRUBBERS WITH RIGID ANCHORS
Combined grubbers with rigid anchors brought on lift and trailed version.
Machines for the double layer working, particularly indicated for hard ground. They can be used as alternative to the ploughing with a working depth of 20/30 cm with discs and 40/50 cm with the anchors. Indiscriminately usage on corn stalk, sorghum, wheat straw and residues of soya, tomato and sunflower.
The machines are available in trailed or brought on lift versions.
MANAGEMENT OF THE WASTEWATER AND VARIOUS WORKING
IDL slurry spreader with discs for the management of wastewater and Combi Strip till for the strip working.
The ma/ag solution for wastewater management is the IDL slurry spreader. The machine allows the injection of slurry at a maximum depth of 15 cm, even with the presence of important crop residues. The IDL can be used in conjunction with the tractor for product distribution by “umbilical” system or applied to trailed barrel wagons.
The Combi strip realizes a strip of 10-20 cm for a depth that usually does not exceed 20 cm. The preparation of the seeding strip is achieved through the association of uncut cleaners, toothed, wavy or smooth discs together with anchors and refining roller or confinement of various conformations. The Combi strip can also be fitted in the version for slurry injection.
